For roaming you need different directives in /etc/network/interfaces
and an additional program (ifplugd). I made a few tries in the old
shr-testing with not much success so far
using the Om2008.12 kernel and modules (to boot Debian)

Also, I rebooted the thing and it got an IP just fine. (!?) Also I see
that it got alerted through the wpa_cli action stuff at boot time just like
I was expecting it to do
from it without some technical
skills to get rid of that message.
Also if you turn it on it 'phones home' via GPRS with its GPS location, but it
doesn't connect to GPRS by default yet, so that won't help me. I can't wait to
see a stable connection manager take care of this for me.

use the CPU for anything serious the sound gets really choppy. It'd be nice if

I don't see what you're complaining about either. Why do you want to not have

I completely drained the battery in my keyboard and now it's working every time.
I wish that there was some way to change this LMP timeout though. Try as I
might I couldn't find it.

Oops, I said 10% and then I said 25% :p Needless to say it's an annoyingly low
percentage of the time that it all works smoothly.

I believe that command is telling the SD reader to keep its clock on, even
when idle. The ability to turn off the idle clock was implemented to prevent
GPS interference. Perhaps the fact you have a capasitor on your SD connector
has something to do with this. Mutually exclucive fixes in
