Support for pre-paid system notifications
The current qtopia/x11 build (if I'm remembering correctly) is providing the message from my pre-paid service (Speak Out) after every call. A little message pops up telling me how much is left on my account. On Windows phones it comes in as a text message. Is this part of the dialer? A separate package? Something else? Anyway of getting it into the zhone dialer? ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support

With my carrier (Fido Prepaid in Canada) these notifications are sent as USSD messages. http://docs.openmoko.org/trac/ticket/1226 has a couple of examples. ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support

Only requests are USSD messages (in fact no stack is supporting them yet), answers are something like Flash SMS (I don't know which is the correct name, I was calling them so on my old phones). -- Treviño's World - Life and Linux http://www.3v1n0.net/ ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support
