Hello
I have a problem when i copy a huge File over 2GB between WAN -LAN -WAN.
The Firewall breaks the connection. Is there a limit?
It is not a FTP connection, just a normal NFS connecion.

Is there any updated roadmap for pfsense 2.0?
When stable version is planned to be released?
Thanks,
Tonino

I have made a simple configuration which looks like that :

it'd be interesting to compare the same hardware running linux; if you
don't feel like installing, boot a live CD; just ifconfig the
interfaces, and turn on IP

Hello
In the WAN side there is a Server (in our Lab) and i have to copy Files from
there to my LAN Interface. When I copy an huge File that is more then 2 Gb the
Firewall disconneted the connections and shows me that the Source is not.
Do you know what I mean? Is just simple WAN to LAN

What happens, if you transfer the file in direct (eg. without the
pfsense in between ?)
Definitely try that.
pfsense has a workaround specifically for NFS on System: Advanced:
Firewall and NAT (system_advanced_firewall.php).

I thought there was about a 2GByte file size limit on Ext2 File systems too.

Not according to wikipedia, however There are also many userspace
programs that can't handle files larger than 2 GB.
Here are the results of the test you have asked :
gregober 21:15:31 ~ - iperf -c 1.2.3.5
Client connecting to 1.2.3.5, TCP port 5001
TCP window size: 129 KByte (default)

My main question is why when filtering is enabled do we loose 75% of the

Is this normal figures or not ?
Filtering has vastly more overhead than routing, that's normal.

Closest thing to a roadmap is here:

The release will happen when it's ready, but hopefully that
