i can't install pidgin in mac os x, i setup fink and when i am setup pidgin:
im type ./configure and 5min ago, with any check type:
configure: error: The intltool scripts were not found. Please install intltool.

I've been using pidgin for months just fine with gmail, but today, I keep
getting an unable to connect message. I've tried removing the account and
re-adding, disabling and re-enabling, uninstalling and re-installing
pidgin. Not sure how to fix this, but really need pidgin to work with
Pidgin on OSX isn't officially supported by the Pidgin project.
If you're using fink, you will need to speak with folks from that
project to get support.
Here is the FAQ from Pidgin's site. The link to the fink site has
packages of pidgin for OSX which may be useful to you:

I use pidgin 2.9.0, farsight2 0.0.27, and libnice 0.1.0 on slackware64 13.37
I built pidgin 2.9.0 against farsight2 and libnice with --enable-vv.
On pidgin, I initiated a voice call with another person on XMPP.
That person also used pidgin.
The voice of the person on the other side stuttered.
