Hello, Prior to upgrading to Windows 7, an icon for Pidgin quick launch always displayed on the bottom right on start up. Now, because the icon no longer appears, I always have to remember to launch Pidgin each morning. Does anyone know of a way to get the icon back so that I don’t have to launch
I looked everywhere and clicked and right clicked on names and I did not see
the "(Re-)Request authorization" menu item

I have many friends that insist on using IM in offline mode.
Perhaps you should check with them to make sure your friends don't
prefer the seclusion of having no one chatting with them.
Also, that screenshot is a dangerous way to broadcast to the world a
few of your friend's email addresses...
