You could try using the Message Notification plugin (in Tools->Plugins) and
playing around with the settings there if you need a bit more control
around that sort of thing. There's an option there for 'flash window' that
you might be able to disable to help with what you're trying to do
Hi,
I have unchecked the 'blink on new message' option yet the window
continues to flash when there is a new message.
This is really frustrating as it forces my taskbar to slide out,
covering whatever I might have been working on.
Is there another way to disable window flashing on new message?
