From what I can see by grepping the code, they are mostly treated the same
except for one difference in jabber/si.c .

Don't know.

Update Portable

2018-04-11 Thread Br. Louis

Hello,

I am using the portable version Pidgin which I got from PortableApps.com.

I see on their Pidgin Portable Support page that if I have version 2.7
or later it is possible to have spell-check by downloading an Apache
OpenOffice dictionary
. I have
version 2.12.0 and would like to update it. I do not see a portable
version on your downloads page.

Would you tell me how to update Pidgin Portable?
Thank you,

Brother Louis

TOR/Privacy (SOCKS5) or SOCKS5?

2018-04-11 Thread io.media
Hello,
What's the difference between "TOR/Privacy (SOCKS5)" and "SOCKS5" in proxy
settings?
Can i use just SOCKS5 to connect through TOR (127.0.0.1, port 9050)?

Unfortunately, I didn't find anything in Google and in your FAQ.
Thank you!___
