The main difference between the two settings is that "TOR/Privacy (SOCKS5)"
will send DNS requests over the proxy (preventing leaking of private
metadata), whereas "SOCKS5" will not.

From what I can see by grepping the code, they are mostly treated the same
except for one difference in jabber/si.c .
