program is causing the other client to crash. After the crash, we can

Sorry, we are both using Pidgin, latest version. If it matters, he's
on some ver of Linux, and I'm on Win 7. Seems to only crash, when
initially creating a link between us, after crash works fine. I also
switch pcs during the day, work, then back home, and it's when
