Window Docking / Maximize Issue

2014-06-06 Thread Mike Smith
Is there an open ticket for window docking / maximize issues?

When Pidgin is open it is effecting other applications by not allowing them to
maximize to the full resolution of the monitory occupied by Pidgin. Even if
Pidgin is minimized, the other applications will not be allowed to maximize to
the full resolution of the monitor. Only if Pidgin is closed will the other
applications be allowed to maximize to the full monitor resolution.

Version 2.10.9 (libpurple 2.10.9) running on Windows 8.1. But, I've seen this
issue with other versions of Windows.

Thanks

Mike

You're likely seeing the result of the dockable buddy list. This can
be turned on/off in "Windows Pidgin Options" plugin. (Tools -
Plugins - Windows Pidgin Options -- Dockable Buddy List).
