Hello,

It seems Seamonkey 2.7 uses CPU cycles when idle. And quite many of them.
I use Debian Testing 32-bit with Xfce 4.8. ALso, i use the pre-built
Linux packages from Seamonkey's site as in Debian Seamonkey (iceape)
latest version is 2.014.

Now, the issue:

I have a few extensions installed, but if i disabled them i saw the same
behaviour. Also i have 2 IMAP accounts and 5 RSS feeds configured.
I usually have forums or the like opened and i have the flashblock
extension on all the time on all sites.

Right after launch Seamonkey behaves ok, but after a few tab open/close
(i have ~10 tabs open usually) it starts to use 20-30 % CPU (Athlon II
250 x2 @3.00 GHz) even with a blank new tab open. But the CPU usage goes
down to 1-3% if i minimize the window.
Firefox 9 (iceweasel) from the repos does not have this issue so its not
a platform thing i guess.

Anyone else with this issue?
