Mozilla has a Right Mouse Button, Copy Image. For reasons I don't understand that often works when Ctrl C does not. (I don't know what Ctrl A is). The image is now in your clipboard. Getting it out of there is dependent on the target software now and not Mozilla. Usually Ctrl V does the trick

Not sure about manipulated as a file but you could install a virtual PDF printer I have been using CutePDF which is exactly as you describe.but it will only handle a part of a large email. Any other ways to transfer an email's contents to Word or capture it all as one jpg?? Thnaks
