Apologies if this had been covered previously but my searches have come
up empty. Be sure, I love SM and have done for many years.

User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/51.0 SeaMonkey/2.48

I am interested in casting content from my browser on this tablet device
to the smart TVs in my house. The Add-ons searches have discovered a
few Cast options, but none even mentioning SM, only FF. Anyone have any
experience with making one of them work with SM? I have Chrome
installed but only use it for that one thing.

Suggestions?

Are you considering plugins or extensions? While Mozilla developers
lumped them both under the term "add-ons", they are quite different.
See my <http://www.rossde.com/computer/addons.html>.

If you are considering extensions, see
<http://addonconverter.fotokraina.com/> regarding conversion of Firefox
extensions for use with SeaMonkey. Especially check
<http://addonconverter.fotokraina.com/compatibility/> to see which
extensions can be converted successfully.

I'll give it a look later today. Plugins or extensions, I'm not really bothered which way I get there, as long as A) it's from SM, B) is stable, and C) doesn't require some sort of subscription.
Thanks.
