 Every time!!

This originally lead to me having 12 messages in my 'Drafts' folder on
 the "Local Folders" account.

Now that I've re-booted the computer and SeaMonkey, which tried to
resend those 12 messages, and failed again, so those messages have moved
from the 'Drafts' Folder to the 'Outbox' folder . but still haven't
 appeared on the E-S newsgroup!

Anybody got any suggestions as to what is going on .. assuming I can
actually post this to this newsgroup/news-server!!

You might consider the following. Note that I am using Thunderbird
52.9.1. If you are using a newer version, some of the following might
be different. However, there should be equivalents.

1. Select [Tools > Options] on the main menu bar.

2. On the Options window, select [Advanced > Network & Disk Space >
Offline].

3. On the Offline Settings window, check the radio buttons for "Send
unsent messages when going online?"

Do you want it automatically (then Yes)? Do you want to pick and choose
(then Ask me)? Or do you always want to do this manually (then No)?

When I use "Send later", my Outbox label becomes bold. When I decide to
send the messages, I do not move them to Drafts. Instead (as I
indicated earlier), I select my Outbox, right-click, and select Send
Unset Messages.

NOTE: Thunserbird's Outbox is much like an Outbox folder in a Fax
application. They both hold messages you want to send, but you do not
want to send them until later.

If your messages are in your Outbox, that indicates you might have
selected "Send later" instead of "Send".  If so, select the Outbox
folder (NOT any messages there), right-click, and select "Send unsent
messages" from the pull-down context menu.

You were correct, David, I had selected "Send Later" because (well,
that's another story!).

Before closing down last night, I moved then back into the "Drafts"
folder so, when I can on-line tonight, I was asked if I wanted to send
them, to which I responded 'Yes'.

I'll see if they actually made it to the UseNet group and report back
later!

I've just been through selecting each message in the "Drafts" folder,
then Message->Edit Message as New->Send and they all appeared on
the UseNet newsgroup!

Why tonight, but not last night?? Don't know!!
