Hi Jerry,

I have just realised the meaning of the error. It is referring to a bug in the 
JS source file. The source file is trying to use a function member that does 
not exist for the type of object that "t" is.
So there is no solution at all.
But why then does Firefox display it correctly?

Hello Gerry,

So the fault has been identified. Is it a Seamonkey bug?
Doesn't Seamonkey use the same or similar runtime engine as Firefox?
Is there a temporary solution?
Is there a proper fix?

Since updating from 2.49 to 2.52 the number of sites I now have to use 
with a different browser to work has significantly increased.


I have a ton of new sites that the pictures no longer show up in. 
Someone else mentioned Home Depot and Reddit issues as some of them. The 
other surprising one  is The Onion

Fixed in 2.53.3b1 and up.

It is being uploaded right now. If you need it urgently should work but I 
didn't verify the packages:

Do a profile backup but my upgrades from 2.53.2 went smooth. ewong said he 
need to redo it so either works or not. Remove or disable SeaMonkey 2.53.2

My challenge is when logging onto Reddit, I find that the website is not 
fully rendering in terms of my not being able to see all posts and 
limited scrolling.


I Am not able to click on many of the posts to read as well, mail or 
messages to me directly are not being noted.

artists and content creators.


If you watch a streaming video, does it mean you've stolen it, then if 
you SAVE that video, does it suddenly mean you've stolen it. If you 
record a radio programme to a cassette tape, or a TV programme to VCR, 
what then?

I'm browsing in Private Mode and can't see any comments on that page, or 
even where they would be.

- Are they only shown if you are signed in? (via Facebook?)
- An alternative theory would be that they have just changed their 
javascripts and forgotten Seamonkey, although it would be a coincidence 
(NO, A CONSPIRACY) that this happened just when you moved up a level.

Mailbox recovery

Hello,

Yesterday, my imap server has crashed and I have reinstalled system
from backup. Unfortunately, mailboxes were destroyed. Thus, I have done
a backup on client side. This backup was installed in Local Folders and
seamonkey (2.53.2) shows tree in Local Folders but no message !

Maybe you have some setting which suppresses the information somehow,

Don, I'm fairly sure that there is somewhere in the Preferences 
screens (Edit -> Preferences) or Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings 
(Edit -> Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings) but, when I just had a 
look, I couldn't find where.


So Rodney might want to type 'about:config' in the browser address 
bar, accept the warning, then type 'useragent in the Search: field.


One of the Preferences offered will be 
"mailnews.headers.showUserAgent". clicking on the "false" should 
change it to 'True' and the whole preference will be in *Bold* to show 
it has been User Set.
