When I recently updated Thunderbird to 52.0, for some reason the
checkbox for E-mail in Thunderbird's System Integration window became
unchecked. I put a checkmark there, and that solved my problem.

Note: The System Integration window is reached via [Tools > Options >
Advanced > General] and selecting the Check Now button to the right of
the system Integration area.

Consider:
* Most state mandate that drivers have liability insurance.
* Employers are mandated to have worker's compensation insurance.
* If you live in a flood zone, flood insurance is mandatory.
* If your home has a mortgage, fire insurance is mandatory.

Why then is mandatory health insurance so bad??

When I select a mailto: link in a Web page, I get a SeaMonkey "Account
Wizard" window to establish a new E-mail account. I used to get a
Thunderbird compose window since I use Thunderbird for E-mail. In
Windows 7, Thunderbird is already sent as my default application for
mailto:.

Why is this happening? What can I do to restore Thunderbird as the
proper application for mailto:?
