No, not really, except that it may influence where SM browser goes.

Daniel

I certainly read that as you contradicting yourself.

Yeah!! Now that I re-read it, it does seem like I'm contradicting myself.

Must have been one of those days.

Dear Daniel,
I am still busy how to put plugins in FF, there is a site in Holland who
is helping me with that problem

This doesn't affect SeaMonkey 2.0 at all, as the problem is syncing with

Exactly the reason that I left the original memo, that Firefox 3.5 RC1 was out
in the wild.

Hopefully, this means that SM 2, an obviously even better idea
browser-and-then-some, is ever nearing its own introduction.

As we had to see stabilization and finality to Firefox 3.5 mechanics, in order
to see SM 2 draw nearer.

Re: Firefox 3.5 RC1 is appearing

2009-06-18 Thread JR WG
Appears that Firefox 3.5 RC1 is itself appearing, but with reletively little
fanfare and pronouncements from Mozilla HQ.

For something that's been waylaid for this long, the RC1 is a relief, indeed,
seen mostly in English but we should be seeing other world languages as well.

Various locales seen for now:

https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases/Firefox_3.5rc1

http://www.filehippo.com/download_firefox/tech/

and there are of course a great many others.

In Mozilla and SeaMonkey, do Tools | Cookie Manager | Manage Cookies and
you'll find you /can/ select more than one at a time. Use CTRL-click for
discontinuous selections, SHIFT-click for continuous ones per standard
Windows convention.

You can also set your preferences to purge all cookies every time you
close the program: Edit | Preferences | Privacy Security | Cookies |

If you're referring to Apple Mail, no one here can help you.

I use Fototime/Fotoalbum. Just switched to a new computer (64 bit) and
Vista. In the past, when I logged on Fototime or accessed it via
Fotoalbum which logged me, Fototime opened in SM browser. Now, it is
opening in IE.

I have interacted with Fototime support and not been able to solve the
problem. Their support people tell me they are using the following to
open the default browser:

ShellExecute(NULL, open, http://www.fototime.com;, NULL, NULL,
SW_SHOWNORMAL);

They also refer me to this document which explains further:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/224816

Anyone understand all this well enough to know why it is invoking IE
instead of SM? Seems like it might be a Vista or 64 bit problem.

Thanks
Stan
