It means LTS, or Long Term Support.

In Mozilla terminology, it is ESR or Extended Support Release.

However, if like Thunderbird, SeaMonkey stays on an ESR plan, whatever 
gets released will be a Mainstream release with extended support.

I think I read that was going to be the case as well. I'm on 2.51 beta
myself so was just curious if a final 2.51 was coming.
