Do other Flash videos played from within SeaMonkey have sound, or is it
just YouTube? If all Flash is silent in SM:

Ah, OK.

Don't feel stupid about WFM. Too many people are now using their own
acronyms in place of English phrases because of Twitter and other
texting systems. Usually, only those who create such acronyms know what
they mean.

I was feeling more stupid about not
turning-it-off-and-turning-it-back-on again.

A frequent participant in Mozilla newsgroups is Tanstaafl. That is not
someone's name; that is an acronym for There ain't no such thing as a
free lunch.

:) I'm of a generation that hung onto the next Heinlein book coming
out; I'm well familiar with TANSTAFFL! (thanks, Mr. Lazarus Long).

I also see WTF and ROTFLMAO. Here, SM is NOT sadism and
masochism; it is SeaMonkey. TB is not tuberculosis; it is Thunderbird.

Newsgroup messages are not Twitter tweets. We all could understand the
discussions better if participants used English (or their native
language) and not acronyms.

Thanks. While I do kind of live here as someone downthread mentioned,
I've never seen WFM applied to me before--I've seen it, and thought it
was something like wead the fn manual. (read with a slight lisp).

Nonetheless, even though I don't actively participate--I do read the
group thoroughly a few times a month and always when an update comes
up--I'm so glad the group is here and I thank profusely the volunteers
who keep it going and the volunteers/devs who spend their time on SM.

As David pointed out, the usual interpretation in newsgroups is works

In principle, it could also mean something one of my neighbors used to
