Windows 95 is like Windows 98, without Quick Launch and oversized toolbars. if win95 is like win98, and winNT is like win95, then why did the OP say there was no Start button? There's more than one WinNT. I've used (at least) NT 3.51 and NT 4.0. NT 3.51 looks a lot like Window 3.1 - no Start menu, for example. NT 4.0 looks more like Win/95, win/98, etc. - has a Start menu. gotcha! -- *IMPORTANT*: Sorry folks, but I cannot provide email help Emails to me may become public Notice: This posting is protected under the Free Speech Laws, which applies everywhere in the FREE world, except for some strange reason, not to the mozilla.org newsgroup servers, where your posting may get you banned. Re: New NT3.51 install does not run
Sorry but after reinstalling yet again it still does not work. It installs perfectly, then when I go to run it, nothing happens. The mouse flashes briefly as an hour-glass and the program never opens. There was some mention of SeaMonkey not agreeing with some ATI video drivers, but I'm using a Matrox G400. ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Have you installed the DCOM update? I know SeaMonkey needs it on Windows 95. Also, to be able to use SSL, you'll have to install the CAPI package, if it isn't installed by default (I forgot). ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
