Thank you. That worked.

No.

Or is this setting for something different?

It's for (blocking) website popups.

I always get this pop-up message when I try to connect to my IMAP account:

"mail44.ispgateway.de". Es ist möglich, aber unwahrscheinlich, dass
jemand versucht, Ihre Kommunikation mit dieser Website abzufangen.

Wenn Sie vermuten, dass das angezeigte Zertifikat nicht

- I know that the server is right and secure
- I have imported the certificates for "smtprelaypool.ispgateway.de" and
"sslmailpool.ispgateway.de" and set them trustfull for "web" and "mail-user"

You tried to connect to A but the certificate belongs to B so you
installed the certificate for C? I'm confused. Seems like a cheap
hoster. :-/

How can I deactivate this message?

Try the following in the order listed:
a) in your MailNews Account Settings, replace the server imap..de by
one of the three .ispgateway.de addresses above and check if getting
mail still works. If it does your case is solved. Cf. [1] (German)

b) try if the extension from [2] works for you; I didn't try it.

BTW: SM2 allows to add security exceptions for those cases, no
extensions required.
