This typically happens on Windows when it is low on memory resources.
When you shut down SeaMonkey, memory used is reclaimed and eventually
makes its way to whatever is currently memory starved, which in this
case is the bit of Windows that displays icons on your desktop. Try
adding more RAM to your system.
