Ribbon for SeaMonkey?
Rumor has it http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9138395/Mozilla_plans_to_ribbonize_Firefox that FireFox will adopt a ribbon interface on Vista and Windows 7. Is this going to happen for SeaMonkey also? I went to the above site, and there are no illustrations that depict just what the heck they're talking about! Where can I go to see an example of ribbonizing in action? keith ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Is this going to happen for SeaMonkey also? I have no idea what they mean with ribbon there, but what Firefox does plan is described here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Sprints/Windows_Theme_Revamp/Direction_and_Feedback And no, SeaMonkey is not planning in that direction right now - we can't say it will never happen as nobody can know the future, but it's not planned right now. Yes, and I heard today that Firefox is not planning to use that ribbon - they're planning to use a glass look though, and they're planning to re-do the main window UI, but not with the ribbon itself. At least that's what they told me. If you want to discuss what they are doing further though, then please move over to a Firefox group.
