Jim,

You may want to take the .xpi file out of your plugin directory. I
don't think it will cause any harm there, but it's not supposed to
go there.

I use Enigmail on Linux and can offer help for that environment, if
you need any.

I don't see any menu item in SeaMonkey for installing plugins, as there
seems to be in the Thunderbird instructions, and I haven't seen any
instructions for doing this in SeaMonkey on the enigmail site.

Jim

wherever you downloaded it from, you should have just
clicked on it, instead of downloading it, and it would
have installed automatically.

But, since you've already downloaded it, from the
browser, click on File, Open File, and install it that
way.

Or, drag and drop it into SM and it'll start to install.

enigmail question

2009-01-29 Thread Jim

Hi all--

I downloaded the enigmail .xpi file for SeaMonkey, but I have no idea
how to install the plugin. I placed this file in the plugin directory.

I don't see any menu item in SeaMonkey for installing plugins, as there
seems to be in the Thunderbird instructions, and I haven't seen any
instructions for doing this in SeaMonkey on the enigmail site.
