Thanks for the info. That new option will be quite handy actually.
Shame it won't be back-ported  to 0.5 :(

Yes, I am accessing it remotely, and yes, it would have been helpful to
have that listed in the build email!

[freenet-support] Freenet 0.7 build 1022

2007-03-31 Thread Matthew Toseland
Are you accessing the node from a remote computer? In 1021/1022 we
introduced some new security settings which you must override if you
want to configure/administrate the node remotely.

This means that you access your node remotely, now you have to enable the total
access if
you want to be able to do everything remotely, otherwise you are protected from
somebody
messing up your node from the different ip.

This change really should have been announced specifically.

My node's been looking weird since this update:

The menu on the main fproxy page just shows

* Home
* Queue

And nothing else.
Also, if I click on the Queue menu, I see that I have an outstanding alert:

"Minor: 1 | Total: 1 | See them on the Freenet FProxy Homepage.", yet this
isn't showing up, so I've no idea what it is!

Any ideas?

Freenet 0.7 build 1022 is now available. Please upgrade: The auto-update
code should download the new version, tell me if it does not.

This is a bugfix release. The main change is to fix FCP downloads to
disk. Thanks. Please report any bugs you find in it.
