The wiki move screwed up passwords; we had to reset via the forgot password mechanism. Could it be a similar problem here? Have you tried that? Unfortunately there is no such option on the mailman pages, would have tried that :) No idea who can maintain the WoT list settings. Via the admin interface I was not able to set a different mailing list owner, so I assume someone else can change the settings. The same one who can create new lists there?
