Battery life

Hi all. I am thinking about buying a Neo Freerunner. But then I found the warning that battery will last only 1 day, and also some better values on this list. So, what are your personal records so far? Second issue before buying: any recommendations for small, but usable external keyboards?

Thanks for the suggestions. You convinced me to dumb the NetworkManager. And now it works perfectly on openSUSE 11.2! I only added a file /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth1 as recommended on this list: # USB configuration for PDAs (openmoko) IPADDR='192.168.0.200/24' NETMASK='255.255.255.0'
