Need for a strong User Interface Developer. ***MUST BE LOCAL TO NJ CANDIDATES ONLY – CLIENT IS DOING F2F INTERVIEWS*** *Location: Parsippany, NJ (all work to be done on-site no remote work allowed)* *Duration: 6 -12 months * Hours will be a 7 hour work day (35 hours per week) Candidates must be able to submit a portfolio of their work at the time of a face to face interview. Specifically, the design of the application created in Adobe or in a wireframing system/software. MUST have excellent communication skills, this can not be just a coder that will sit behind a desk all day, will be interacting with management/staff. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: In this role, the User Interface Developer will be responsible for developing a state of the art online quoting and policy portal. Further duties are listed below: ? Required to work in an agile development environment ? Work closely with the development team to respond to business needs, develop design strategies and communicate design solutions ? Design and specify the product experience using iterative design techniques including design studios, end-user interviews and usability testing ? Produce superior production quality code, establish coding conventions and supporting documentation Qualifications *Required Technical Competencies:* - High-level proficiency with Wireframing software and Adobe Creative Suite, .NET Framework (4 years or greater) in C# programming, Web Services & SOAP, Visual Studio 2012/13, & C# applications in relation to developing Web service clients. *Skills/Experience:* *Required:* - 4+ years of experience in visual design and development in .Net - Ability to work independently and juggle multiple UX/UI projects at a time - Highly creative, detail-oriented, passionate about delivering the best user experience possible - Experienced in developing rich dynamic cross-browser web experiences using XHTML/HTML, CSS#, JavaScript, jQuery, etc. - Excellent communication and writing skills - Domestic Travel only required, <10% *Education*: - Bachelor’s Degree.
