Hi all, there is a new experiment about to start at the Gran Sasso laboratory (Abruzzo region, central Italy), to detect dark matter (featured on BBC News24 today). The business end appears to be a metal sphere, loosely comparable to a bathroom in size, which will soon be filled with argon.

I will be in Florence from April till July and have a six channel microphone Umashankas Velabn design which can be used for ambisonics of or just the raw channel recordings - I intend to cllibrate the microphone sometime this month - if thats any good - sounds fascinating ! On 6 February 2013
