*Maura Stephens, Truthout:* A recent report about paid actors showing up at
public meetings in New Orleans to support a proposed power plant has
brought to light another shady practice of the corporatocracy. In a country
where the arts have never been well supported and unions are under constant
assault, it's no surprise that people in devalued professions become
especially vulnerable to exploitation by the rich and powerful.
