Learn about the 2015 hydrilla control efforts, including the new techniques 
used in the southeast corner of Cayuga Lake, and three other invasive species 
that threaten local waters.



*Hydrilla eradication efforts for 2015

*Aquatic plants:  monitoring hydrilla and exploring trends in plant growth in 
Cayuga Lake.

*Drinking water safety: monitoring the movement and dilution of herbicides

*Other invasives that threaten local waters: blue-green algae, hemlock wooly 
adelgid and water chestnuts
