I finally gathered some info on biodiesel. A company in Masschusetts called World Energy sells 7500 gallon shipments at ~$1.90 per gallon. (Shipments are also available in 55 gallons or 5 gallons, but the price is over $4 a gallon.) My next step is to find out if I can get a tax credit,

Insofar as I can gather, they are using a permanent catalyst - some polymerised something. Enzyme processing is tricky. Each enzyme likes a different thing, so yields differ greatly with the use of different enzymes. There is a paper somewhere I found, but didn't keep it.
