There's nothing revolutionary about this trailer plant. It was an idea

The diesel-powered Volkswagen Lupo 3L TDi is one of the most
fuel-efficient cars in the world. It's called the "3L" because its
official fuel consumption is below three litres per 100 km -- 94.1
miles per gallon. In 2000 a Lupo 3L went on a globe-trot. It covered
20,699 miles at an average spe
Hi Jan and all
Please note that Dick Carlstein's plant will only handle virgin oil,
not waste oil, and there's no provision for washing.

I think the idea that biofuels cost more to produce than you get has been
pretty thoroughly debunked. Check the biofuels archives, check this

Thor,
It is not only because of the engine. We're talking an all aluminum

There is a problem with cavitation erosion on the
coolant side of cylinder walls unique to diesels that
can cause a white smoke condition. I hope this is not
the problem with yours Malcolm as it eventually
requires replacement of the cylinder liners (if

I mention this mainly because i

Yea, I have had that problem for some time with an 89 chev truck and was
advised recently that the smoke came from the coolant, apparently seeping
into the engine and that standard treatment for it was to put in stop leak
pellets, which I haven't done yet. I suppose over time it could depl

I think most of us are looking for it.
Can we obtain help from Enviromental Organizations ( or Engeneers without
Frontiers, perhaps ) to pay researchers ??? or to buy patents for general use
.
It«s the next step we need. And the world too, to have a better environment.
All the best.

The Seat Arosa and VW Lupo may share many components but that doesn't make
them the same car! There's a 1.4 TDI engine and a 1.2litre; the "Lupo 3L"
(i.e. 3litres per 100km) has a 1.2litre, 3 cylinder TDI engine, with many
lightweight body parts and aerodynamic tweaks. These engines have "unit
