lets get specific! i don't accelerate to a stop. i try and accelerate as
gently and gradually as the vehicle allows (given its' propensity to lunge,
due to the lack of sensitivity in the sender.) i leave plenty of space
between myself and vehicles in front of me. it's absolutely true about

Anyone know of a after market dew hickey
I can install that will give me a
real-time running tally of my fuel economy?
My GeMe (Geo Metro) uses E10 gasoline
and its worst winter month was 40 mpg,
best summer month 55 mpg thou' EPA
claims adjusted cty/hwy 44/49 mpg.

Tonight I made my first batch of wvo biodiesel. Last night I titrated the oil
the better way (twice). As many times as I had read that, I had looked over
the divide by 4 part and got worried. Titrated out at 12 ml or 3 grams plus
3.5 for 6.5 grams lye/litre. I used a drill and a 5 gal
i drive a 'safe' speed as determined by the speed limits
and the flow of traffic at the time. safety trumps gas mileage for me and
i've seen plenty of old folks in buicks driving slow (and i'm sure getting
great gas mileage) and ultimately being the cause of accidents they so
determinedly
Heloo Gady,
Here sukumar from india. It is good to know that you are working in biodiesel.
I was doing research in biodiesel last 3 years in India. I compared nearly 8
oil like Mahua, Karanja, Sal, Jatropha, Neem,Kussum, Lineseed and cooten seed.
For any help you are wel come any time.

well.. maybe some of you might have done this but... i was exited as
my friend devised cheap way to get air bubbles through the biod
very simply , get a inflated tire.. and adjust the valve so that very
little air escapes... stick a hose in there... and
If you want to know on good reason for the problems in this country look
at the gas mileages for the 2005 vehicles in the latest Consumer Reports.
Damned few vehicles are rated over 20 mpg and Detroit and the European
manufacturers just keep pumping them out. Until fuel reaches about
Thank you for the wonderful explanation of what I grew up calling: The art
of smooth motoring. My brothers would set a glass of water on the dash of
the car and then let me drive. I was allowed to drive until I spilled the
water. I have been grateful all my life for their teachings. It is
absolute sense. However, nor am I willing to concede that slower is
always safer as the 'speed kills' lobby would have us believe.
First, I'd like to suggest that you're ignoring the effect of speed
differentials on safety; someone that is driving 20 mph faster *or*
slower than everyone

Hello brothers and sisters.
I have been making my own bio for about three years and have been very
successful with it. I HAVE had some great failures such as filter clogging raw
fat in the fuel, gertting it in the tank while some Glycerine was still
separating - MORE clogged filters, but have
First, I'd like to suggest that you're ignoring the effect of speed
differentials on safety; someone that is driving 20 mph faster *or* slower
than everyone else disrupts traffic and is a threat to safety.
You can suggest that, as indeed you've done. But you'd be completely in
error.
Just to support Todd's statement. We conducted this experiment in real-life
for
several years in my household. I learned my energy-conserving driving
techniques
while driving an electric car. There is nothing like the real-time feedback of

if you did the air bubbling from the inflated tires maybe some carbon black
and or rubber got into your BD, and this is causing the darkness..
Tires loose carbon and rubber very easily. (Even the smelling is telling
that). Also maybe some sulfur from the vulcanization process maybe reacting
