Ken, It seems to have worked. A small amount of HCl and the emulsion is breaking. The glycerine destined for the compost pile had been split w. H3PO4. The pH was raised w. ammonia, but I'm sure it was still 6.0 or lower. Maybe that is why it separated easier. Thanks for the help Tom
