The four-cylinder engine is tuned to run on
hydrogen, which is produced by a hand-built electrolysis
system mounted in the bed.
For me, the most interesting part of the experiment involved the mobile
electrolysis unit.

Since the flammability range for hydrogen is so wide it could be used at 2% and
then a very lean gasoline mix would burn -- and with good efficiency.
Propagation is a serious problem with lean gasoline mixtures.
