Hey everyone, I'm working with a group that is building a 500 gallon batch reactor. We're trying to implement a continuous wash system with three tanks. Some of the water from the end of the wash in the first tank will be reused in the beginning of the second wash in order to conserve water.

I'd say that using a laser diode would work, putting the sensor at right angles to the beam, would let you know how much dissolved or particulate material is reflecting light. In perfectly clean water (liquid) the beam should not be visible. doug swanson Will Kelleher wrote: Hey everyone,
