I don't know why, but I thought this footnote to all of my
posts is appropriate.
I've been around this 'internet' thing for a while, longer
than most, by a fair amount in some cases.
This mailing list, since I joined no so very long ago, and
it's attendant archives, has been the best source of information
that *I* find impotant that I have ever come across.
The overall quality of the posts and the level headedness
of the commentary has been a huge breath of fresh air, in
this internet of 'info-glut' and flame wars.
So, to all folks on this list, and D. Mindock in particular,
Yeah, I am who I am, and I am a skeptical observer, and I
will challenge assertions, but PLEASE don't take me to be
contrary. I really don't mean to challenge your work except
in a critical sense. I often close a post with keep up
the good work and I mean it. Please, keep up the good work.
The proof will out in the work, and I'm leery (at this stage
in my life) of making pronoucements of things that haven't
occured. But this list has already made a significant impact
on my life and lifestyle. I have gardening projects and
experiments in place that I utilising techniques that I've
garnered from here and the website, that I wasn't even dimly
aware of a year ago.
If this is change (and it is) and it's change for the better
(I think it is) then one can empirically state, that the work
ya'll are doing here on this list does have a net positive effect.
So,
keep up the good work
