So when the wash water has a pH of 7, the biodiesel should also, as the ions
should be equal in both solutions. is

Seems acidic,just put some backing soda till it gets
7 +/-0,25

Hi ,
I have a really clean, clear looking liter sample
of finished biodiesel. The pH is 6. Is this ok or too low and if so what is a
remedy.

LT the biodiesel I am currently producing and all of my trial batches have
been well washed and have tested pH 5.5 to 6.0.
Perhaps the reference to 7.5 is in regard to the pH of the wash water.
Yes the first wash waters will end up a milky colour. Washing should be
