There was a new process for Rayon recently that did away with all the
nasty stuffs, but I wonder if the mills would retrofit, unless prompted to
by the EPA. ;-)

Petro chemicals? If so, then I'd stand by the idea that the price might go up
if the price of oil went up, although it's not as direct as, say, nylon.
