need to add 'Secret History' to my (ever lengthening) reading list.
I remember the discussions of 'Confessions' on the list; that's how it

I had a similar problem using a combination of diesel and WVO in an 85
VW TDI Jetta. Where I would start it on diesel and switch to WVO after
the engine was up to temp.
It died at a red light one day and I had to have it towed. However an
hour later it started right up.
I had one fail running normal diesel at about 90K.
At 90K my VW jetta sensor was reading 20C high, and it would not start well
when it was cold.
I replaced it fixed the cold start issue. It was about $12 for the part.
I have been running B5 and B20 for the past 4 years without problems.
I
