Yeah, I don't get it...is it new or a old? It sounds like it is newly
produced with original (leftover?) parts. What's most important to you
about owning an Akalabeth? Is it the original parts or that it was one of
the original ones sold? If it is just the parts...Garriott could go into
I wonder how long he has been doing this? Joe Garrity, who runs the Origin
museum, was under the impression that he was getting an original from
Richard Garriot...but maybe it was just one like this? He won it at the
Ultima Online convention about a year ago. It was auction off by

Also why should I pay paypal as a seller, I would rather just get a

in order:
1. Fire
2. Flooding
3. Theft or accidental loss
4. Discovering your originals are fakes or counterfeit
5. Auction/trade gone horribly, horribly wrong
..but I experienced #6 this weekend, and I thought I'd share
I'm in the middle of a fight with my wife right nowI'm going to go
apologize :-)

Well, actually I can
I'd say half and half. For the disk, I would agree it's worth far less, as
it's this hobby's equivalent of a replica. For the other materials, though,
I would say they are worth a comparable amount, since they are originals.
True, they may have been held onto by Garriott all this time, rather
