[SWCollect] Xenos
Can someone give me a general value of this game as I am not familiar with it. http://www.figmentfly.com/xenos/ Vintage Gaming - http://www.vintagegaming.org
[SWCollect] More TRS-80
What about "Monty Plays Scrabble"? Do I have junk or what. Now I expect Xenos (disk, bag, manual) has some value being a Text adventure but what I don't know.. Freddie Vintage Gaming - http://www.vintagegaming.org
[SWCollect] Trivia questions answers (spoiler if you still wanna try), BT was wrong
Interesting!! GS question "The payment for the licensing was a case of a fairly hard to find British beer; I dont know the brand. " BT question "the original name of Bard's tale was Spector Snare. Mike Crawford did a virtuoso job with it back in the early days of Interplay, right after they were formed from Boone Software." So how about it folks, can anyone refute this or does this fellow know more than us? I'm guessing he does for sure on GS UI since he actually did the music for it ;) Tom Visit my web page for many games for sale/trade and screen shots of Ultima Escape from Mt. I think I gave that to you, right? If I recall, I got that along with the Personal Software Zork for about $100 :) So hard to say what it was worth alone. It looked boring to me or I wouldnt have parted with it but maybe I was wrong? C.E. Forman wrote: Most of these TRS-80 large manual adventures sell for around $15 - $20. [SWCollect] Castle Wolfenstein
I think Castle Wolfenstein should win the most package variants of any software title ever. Not counting overseas packing and I don't think they had 'budget' packing, there's like 4-5 variants of the Apple II version perhaps? I never saw this one before: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? Re: [SWCollect] Castle Wolfenstein
First time I see that one too... interesting. I think the first ever release was the one with the orange booklet in a baggie. Does anyone know for sure? I think, however, that Zork/Zork I wins hands down for the most package variations! Dan Chisarick wrote: I think Castle Wolfenstein should win the most package variants of any software title ever. I always wondered...is that his real name? It sounds too much like Silas Marner. [SWCollect] Silas Warner
Title: Message I just received word today that Silas Warner has just died. A very sad event and one that is slightly related to me since I suggested that we recreate Castle Wolfenstein back in 1992 (Wolfenstein 3D). At least I got to meet Silas, hear him speak on MUSE Software, and hang out with him. His widow is giving me everything of his from the Apple II days. I'll have to create a shrine for him on my site (http://rome.ro). - john -Original Message-From: C.E.
