Last year we used 146.55 MHz FM and it worked out nicely. I made quite a few contacts there. As far as DMR...you could program in 441.000 MHz, TG 99, TS 1 CC1 and use simplex since you're all in the same place! That is one of the recommended DMR simplex frequencies.
