Re: [Swlfest] [NASWA] THE WINTER SWL FEST IS MOVING DATES !!!!!
You would not recognize the area. An entirely new residential development now exists on the NE side of Sumneytown Pike. New office buildings and restaurants are to the SE of the hotel. A new EZPass interchange takes up part of the real estate of the hotel's back side, and a very busy Royal Farms gas station / c-store has consumed part of the parking lot in front of the hotel. Airport hotels tend to be quite expensive versus the value provided. RC On Thu, Jan 4, 2024 at 1:07 AM Maryanne Kehoe wrote: > How about going back to Kulpsville? Yes. And Sunday is Mother's Day. But we don’t plan on “Festing” on that day. Re: [Swlfest] [NASWA] THE WINTER SWL FEST IS MOVING DATES !!!!!
We will soon be reaching out to folks who have participated in prior Fests to gauge their intent to join us in person. In the aftermath of the pandemic, we know some folks are loath to gather in large groups nowadays; that's why we'll still have a Zoom component. We also will need to identify a physical venue for the in-person component, and we'll be picking a venue based, in part, on how many folks plan on joining us in person. If you're interested in updates, we strongly encourage you to register for the Fest e-group here: http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/swlfest This is the best way to keep up-to-date on Fest happenings without having to check the Fest website for updates.
