I later observed that BibleDesktop does display a space after each pilcrow. It may therefore be an issue for BPBible rather than KJV source text. I'm currently having problems with Xiphos - so can't yet check that as a front end. I still have SPW version 1.5.9 installed, and that doesn't

DM is correct - I just checked four different printed editions of the KJV in our house, and they all have Pilcrows as part of the text. One of them had a distinctly different typeface appearance for this character, but it was definitely there in all the right places. It may be noted in passing

Every KJV that I have shows each verse starting on a new line, with the verse number at the beginning of the line. Most do not display the verse number for verse 1. In Him, DM There are 2 KJV's for sale on Amazon that omit the pilcrow character and have paragraph formatting instead.

I've put the KJV, built with the latest osis2mod, in beta mods. Please test it with 1.6.0 front-ends. Take a look at Psalm 3 and others with titles as that is using the new pre-verse div. If need be, I can recompile the module, with -d 2 (putting in milestones with verse element content)
