Hi David, Thank you for your concern. Yes, there is a synchronize script which clears The Bible Tool's repo and repopulates it from CrossWire main and then adds additional modules which we don't redistribute. The process is not perfect in that there is often updates in The Bible Tool repo

Is there a reason why the two repositories could not be synchronised? Or failing that, for The Bible Tool repo to be refreshed regularly from CrossWire Main, without deleting any modules that are not hosted therein? David -- View this message in context:

As noted SwordWeb has its own copy of the repository. Troy maintains that copy. — DM > On May 2, 2016, at 1:08 PM, David Haslam wrote: > > Now that Greg has identified the cause, might it be possible for someone to > make these modules available for use with The Bible

Now that Greg has identified the cause, might it be possible for someone to make these modules available for use with The Bible Tool on our server? Best regards, David -- View this message in context: http://sword-dev.350566.n4.nabble.com/The-Bible-Tool-missing-modules-tp4656282p4656286.html

My bad, I thought you were implying it was from a non-CrossWire source repository. /space/home/swordweb/webmods/badchars/ukjv.conf That version is the version 1.1 of the conf file. The current version for download is 1.1.1 with the version notes reading "History_1.1.1=Corrected .conf encoding

UKJV is in the main CrossWire repo! Why does it appear to be missing in the list of Bible modules offered by The Bible Tool on the CrossWire server? David -- View this message in context: http://sword-dev.350566.n4.nabble.com/The-Bible-Tool-missing-modules-tp4656282p4656284.html Sent from

AFAIK the point of the tool is just to give online access. If repositories outside of the official CrossWire one would like to expose their modules through the study tool, they can stand it up and run it on their own host. --Greg On Mon, May 2, 2016 at 10:37 AM, David Haslam

One of my contacts has asked why (for example) the Bible module UKJV does not appear in the list of modules for The Bible Tool. This prompts the general question: What determines which modules are offered? How many modules are missing from our online example of The Bible Tool?
