This is a very new translation by Holman. Those already on the site are

Is there a protocol about approaching a publisher about using a translation

Hi there (probably Troy :).
I'm using VerseMgr to cache a list of Books (VerseMgr::Book) in
MacSword.
getBookName() only returns the english book name.
If there a way to retrieve the localized book name without using
VerseKey?
Regards,
Manfred
VerseMgr holds the authoritative Key book names we use in our locales
(these are the English names) so you can just pass these to the
translate method of any locale, e.g.
VerseMgr *verseMgr = VerseMgr::getSystemVerseMgr();
LocaleMgr *localeMgr = LocaleMgr::getSystemLocaleMgr();
Sorry, so briefly, if you have the VerseMgr::Book object, you can get
the translated book name with:
LocaleMgr::getSystemLocaleMgr-translate(book-getLongName());

Sorry, typo:
+ LocaleMgr::getSystemLocaleMgr()-translate(book-getLongName());
- LocaleMgr::getSystemLocaleMgr-translate(book-getLongName());

Thanks Troy.
I wasn't aware of the translate() method.

In USFM they are encoded \qa [Letter]
I tried lg type=acrostic [Letter] /lg but it appears that xmllint

be anything but white space.

Thanks for the reply. It is much as I suspicioned. I do have Visual

not give me an icudt that I could see. Perhaps I'd better look again.
Of considerable concern to me is whether I will be able to

Released this afternoon. This is mostly an urgent bugfix release
induced by the discovery of UTF16 incompatibility in NTFS pathnames. A
few other bugs have been addressed along the way, and I implemented the
transliteration interface as well.
Linux RPMs and whatnot should appear, I expect, in
