[sword-devel] Betatesting in Bibletime

2008-06-20 Thread Peter von Kaehne
I had a short exchange with Eeli last night about the modules in Beta. He explained that at the moment they focus on Qt4 and not so much on OSIS/module compliance, hence even their cutting edge code might be buggy and not fully featured. And the current 1.6 is a dead branch now. He suggested

I am in contact by email with Shane Rice. He has recently advised me a correction to Gen 31:3 Evidently the wrong text was pasted into this verse at some point in time. I will check the beta for SpaRVG (2004) when I get home this evening. -- David Haslam Joachim Ansorg-2 wrote: Hi all,

I happened upon another review of free Bible software that I haven't seen mentioned here before. Overall it is quite positive. And unlike other reviews I've seen, it gives a brief examination of not just BibleCS, but The Bible Tool too (in addition to a few pieces of software/webpages not made

The About field actually has to be RTF (\u?-style). State your case to Troy if you want this to change, but it doesn't make much sense to me that we should want to include RTF markup and UTF-8 character encoding (which isn't permitted in RTF) in the same field. --Chris DM Smith wrote:

I suppose we'll have to get Troy to clarify our position. DM Smith wrote: I may have misunderstood, but I understood that Troy already spoke on this saying that SWORD allowed UTF-8 in RTF as an extension (I think this was also stated on the old Module Making page) and that the encoding
