One came from CHU Toronto, Ontario, Canada for their 5kw operation on
7850khz on Tuesday March 31st, 2015 at 6:10pm pacific.
The other card came from Deutsche Welle for their May 1st, 2015 broadcast
on 17800khz from Ascension Island with 250kw in French. Signal was heard at
1045am pacific.

Well, the station isn't new.. it's new in my log book that is!
Radio Kuwait, 17550 with 500kw form Kuwait at 2234UTC/3:34PM Pacific.
The signal was very steady with good audio. Signal ranged from about a 5
out of 10 to an 8 1/2 out of 10 on my radios signal level meter.
Here is a 7 minute 5
Early Monday morning just before 3am pacific/10:00UTC, I stopped on 7200khz
on my radio and came upon two stations battling it out. Each signal was
fairly steady and with good audio but with two stations trying to punch
through, I could never figure out what either one was.
Both sounded like some
Radio Dabanga 11645khz via Santa Maria di Galeria transmitter on May 16th,
2015 at 0509UTC/1009pm pacific. (transmitter site is near Rome, Italy)
Signal was steady, about a 5 out of 10 with some light fading and slight

ever heard CKZU 6160 Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada here at my
location in Redding, California, USA.
And the signal was even strong before I started this recording!! CKZU is a

I'm up to over a dozen in about a month. I had primarily been an AM DX'er
for years and about 3 months ago, I switched almost entirely to SW Dxing.
I started writing for QSL's in about mid April and have already gotten over
a dozen
Another QSL card arrived in the mail, this one from China Radio
a week and he said he was unscubscribing.
I will remain subscribed to the list but no logner post to it.
